Our client, a well-established road surfacing contractor in the North West, is seeking an experienced Surfacing Contracts Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage high-profile highways and surfacing projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee surfacing contracts from pre-start through to completion
Plan and programme works, managing site teams and subcontractors
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
Maintain strong client relationships, including local authorities and commercial clients
Manage contract costs, variations, and reporting
Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety, and environmental standards

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within road surfacing or highways
Strong operational, commercial, and leadership skills
Relevant industry qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, or equivalent)
Ability to manage multiple projects across the North West
Excellent communication and client liaison skills
