Role Purpose:We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Dispatcher to ensure the efficient allocation of engineering resources, meeting customer expectations in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will manage both planned and unplanned work, ensuring all tasks are prioritised, assigned, and completed effectively while maintaining excellent communication with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Log and handle customer calls efficiently, adhering to agreed procedures.

  • Build strong relationships with customers, engineers, and colleagues.

  • Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their work.

  • Allocate and monitor incoming work (planned and unplanned).

  • Manage VOR trucks and escalate issues as needed.

  • Coordinate with Area Service Managers for absence and absence planning.

  • Process and verify engineers' timesheets for accuracy and productivity.

  • Ensure correct charging of customer work and clean error logs.

  • Participate in team and Area Service Manager meetings.

  • Monitor engineers' performance and escalate concerns when necessary.

  • Procure engineers' tools and materials as needed.

  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Customer Service Manager.

Role Requirements:

  • Strong experience in planning, scheduling, or dispatching.

  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.

  • IT literacy.

  • Experience in a service-related industry is desirable.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
