Job Opportunity: Data Centre Technician
Location: Warrington - ONSITE
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Rack Build & Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise in network installations and field services while working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and configure network hardware, including switches, routers, and APs.
Perform rack builds, staging, and processing of network equipment.
Manage network data cable installations at customer sites.
Collaborate with the Network Operations Centre for seamless network management.
Maintain stock and manage hardware allocations.
Provide on-site network repairs and troubleshooting.
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in network installations, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of networking equipment and devices (e.g., routers, switches, APs).
Familiarity with firewall systems and network security protocols.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and technical teams.
Previous experience in warehouse and stock management is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
