Reporting Developer - Birchwood - £45,000 + Bonus

The Company:

Lorien Global are working with a well-established digital organisation based in Birchwood that's actively investing in its data capabilities. As part of their ongoing growth, they're looking to hire a Reporting Developer to join the expanding Insights and Reporting team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the evolution of their data function and play a key role in how data is accessed and used across the business.

The Role:

As a Data Analyst, you'll take ownership of developing and maintaining business-critical reporting through Power BI, ensuring high performance, usability, and accuracy. You'll also play a central part in enhancing the business's self-serve reporting offering-helping teams make data-informed decisions more efficiently.

Working alongside senior members of the team, you'll gain exposure to complex data environments while supporting the delivery of data solutions across a variety of business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve Power BI reports and dashboards across departments
  • Support the creation of a scalable and intuitive self-service reporting suite
  • Translate business requirements into clean and effective visual solutions
  • Ensure the consistency, quality, and performance of data across large datasets
  • Work collaboratively with other data professionals and business stakeholders

The Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience using Power BI for data analysis and reporting
  • Proficiency with data modelling, SQL, and DAX
  • Exposure to high-volume or complex data, particularly in regulated sectors (e.g. finance, insurance)
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
