Immediate Vacancy: 1-1 Teaching Assistant (Early Years) – Part Time – Warrington

Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and supporting early development? We are currently seeking a committed and caring 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming reception classroom in Warrington, starting immediately.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing individualised support to a specific pupil in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Assisting with classroom activities, sensory play, and developmental tasks in line with the Early Years curriculum
  • Supporting the pupil’s personal, social, and emotional development
  • Monitoring and recording the pupil’s progress, behaviour, and engagement
  • Working collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external agencies to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to build the pupil’s confidence and independence
  • Assisting with personal care, where required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Recent childcare or school-based experience within the last 2 years
  • Ability to provide two references confirming your experience with children
  • A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning
  • Experience working 1-1 with children with additional needs is desirable but not essential
