Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant Needed | Warrington | Immediate Start

Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? A fantastic SEN school in Warrington is looking for someone just like you to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis-starting straight away.

About the Role:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a variety of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and physical disabilities.
  • Assist in implementing individual learning plans and encouraging student independence.
  • Work closely with class teachers and specialists to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to classroom activities and help manage behaviour in a positive and effective way.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an SEN TA role or similar within a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of special educational needs and the strategies to support them effectively.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic attitude with a proactive mindset.
  • Relevant qualifications (such as Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
