Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a primary school setting?A warm and inclusive primary school in Warrington, is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support teaching and learning across Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on experience and school need.

About the Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the delivery of the curriculum and help create an engaging and supportive learning environment. You will work with individuals and small groups of pupils, including those with additional needs, to ensure all children can achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom activities under the direction of the teacher

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils

  • Help prepare and maintain learning resources

  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), where required

  • Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, nurturing learning environment

  • Assist with administrative tasks and classroom organisation

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has recent experience working with children, preferably in a school setting

  • Holds a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Is flexible, reliable, and has a positive attitude

  • Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Is committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils
