Brownlee Cale are working with an Engineering and Technology firm that are looking for Panel Wirers to join their manufacturing branch. They produce a range of panels, from small control panels to large packaged substations and control centres.
PAYE JIB rates:
- Rate 1 - Up to 37.5 hours Monday-Friday (PAYE 15.53 p/h)
- Rate 2 - Over 37.5 hours Monday-Friday and first 6 hours on Saturday(23.30 p/h)
- Rate 3 - Over 6 hours on a Saturday afternoon and Sunday (PAYE 31.06 p/h)
Core shift pattern is 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday at 37.5 hours a week with optional overtime. Typically Saturday mornings and additional hours during the week.
Required Experience:
- Good electrical knowledge and ability to read schematic drawings,
- Previous experience of wiring complex control panels,
- Able to provide personal small hand tools (cable cutters, pliers, cable strippers, snappers, spanners etc)
Skills and Knowledge:
- Able to commence working with minimal training
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Productive team member within a small production team
Please note that this role is6 months PAYE contract with a potential for a permanent positionif the candidate is performing well. They do not accept applications from CIS or PSC candidates.
