About the Role:

We're working with one of our biggest consultancy clients on roles in the North West, looking for Cost Managers who can be on site in Warrington 3 days a week. Projects include carbon capture, energy storage, SMRs, nuclear new build, and transmission & distribution. They're also open to candidates from infrastructure, power, energy, or civils background.

Key Responsibilities for the Cost Manager:

  • Prepare and deliver initial appraisals and feasibility reports.
  • Draft and prepare contract documents.
  • Manage client relationships and present project schemes effectively.
  • Oversee project programming and address any issues affecting service delivery.
  • Prepare comprehensive tendering documentation.
  • Delivering precise monitoring, forecasting, and reporting of project costs to ensure completion within budget.

Role Requirements for the Cost Manager:

  • Have already obtained or working towards chartership (RICS, APM, CIOB, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and positive approach
  • NEC Experience is preferred but not necessary
