I'm exclusive working with a leading North West services business in the search for an ambitious and confident Finance Manager to join their head office in Warrington (hybrid working available).

The Finance Manager will report directly into an impressive Financial Controller, and will have the chance to work within a fast-paced and highly acquisitive environment, supporting the UK arm of the group with a turnover exceeding £1bn.

The Finance Manager will manage a junior team of accountants who need mentoring and motivating, so previous management experience is vital.

What you'll do:

  • Month end reporting & analysis
  • Preparation of the Monthly MI pack for 3 legal entities
  • Ownership of staff costs analysis including head count and variance analysis to budget
  • Production of all management accounts and monthly reporting (local & group) to all agreed formats and timetables
  • Cost of sales central overhead costs analysis
  • Lead & deliver overheads reviews with key business partners
  • Assist in forecasting development , annual budgeting and key business partnering collaboration
  • Ensure group reporting is reviewed and signed off before submission along with key narrative to UK FC

What you bring:

  • Qualified, CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent
  • Some years post qualification experience
  • Experience in managing teams
  • Strong hands-on experience with accounting transactions, management accounts, and reporting.
  • Excellent people and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction.
  • Hunger to learn and develop
