Pipefitter

Location: Warrington

£30,000 - £35,000 plus cycle to work scheme, life assurance childcare vouchers, employee assistance program, death in service, pension and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days

Hours of work: 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday with time off in lieu for additional hours worked

We are a tertiary water treatment company specialising in industrial water treatment and have been established for over 15 years.

Due to growth, we are now looking for a Pipefitter to join our experienced team and help drive the business forwards.

Your responsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • Follow detailed drawings to create water flow systems
  • Working with plastic and polypropylene pipework (20mm – 110mm)
  • Reporting goods in/out
  • Installing new pipe systems, including selecting the correct materials and equipment, and ensuring proper placement and connections. 
  • Regularly inspecting and maintaining existing piping systems to identify and prevent potential problems, including leaks, corrosion, or blockages. 
  • Troubleshooting and repairing leaks, cracks, or other damage to piping systems, using various tools and techniques. 
  • Providing input into the design.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ideally a minimum of 12 months in a similar role
  • Hold Level 2 Diploma in Engineering or Plumbing
  • Able to work as part of a team and use own initiative
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures when working with potentially hazardous materials and equipment
