SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? A well-regarded and nurturing primary school in Warrington is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils who need extra support to thrive in their education.
About the Role:
Full-time position, term-time only
Based in a mainstream primary school in Warrington
Start date: As soon as possible
Potential for long-term placement or permanent role
Duties Include:
Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Assisting the class teacher with differentiated learning activities
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Helping children to develop confidence, independence, and social skills
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has previous experience working with SEN children (in schools, nurseries, or youth support roles)
Is patient, compassionate, and confident in managing behaviour
Can work collaboratively with staff and communicate clearly
Ideally holds a TA qualification (Level 2 or 3 preferred, but not essential)
