SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role:

  • Full-time position, term-time only

  • Based in a mainstream primary school in Warrington

  • Start date: As soon as possible

  • Potential for long-term placement or permanent role

Duties Include:

  • Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties

  • Assisting the class teacher with differentiated learning activities

  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

  • Helping children to develop confidence, independence, and social skills

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has previous experience working with SEN children (in schools, nurseries, or youth support roles)

  • Is patient, compassionate, and confident in managing behaviour

  • Can work collaboratively with staff and communicate clearly

  • Ideally holds a TA qualification (Level 2 or 3 preferred, but not essential)
