Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Lead Systems Engineer to be engaged on a permanent or contract basis, with hybrid working and based in either Warrington, Preston, Cumbria, Leicester, Newbury and Bristol.
The role will require you to lead requirements activities within your area of the programme / project, work with EMs, design team, deriving / managing system and sub-system requirements, whilst managing traceability activities and documentation. You will lead V&V, Test and Acceptance activities. You will be willing to solve complex problems by taking initiative.
Your skills and experience:
- Demonstratable experience within systems engineering.
- In depth knowledge and experience of systems engineering in order to solve complex problems with minimal guidance.
- Background of working in a regulated industry.
- You must be degree/HNC qualified or hold an equivalent or similar qualification.You will also ideally be a chartered engineer or working towards chartership.
