The Role

The position is ideal for a self-motivated and organised individual with a keen eye for detail, capable of becoming the primary point of liaison between the delivery teams and clients. This role will involve delivering data management, data analysis, and business intelligence projects. With a large aspect being customer facing, clear communication and rapport-building skills are a must

Responsibilities

Delivery

  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Break down projects into manageable iteration cycles, ensuring delivery within budget.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, RAID logs, requirements, specifications, and resource plans.
  • Manage project work items and plans across multiple tools, such as Jira, Zoho Sprints, and Microsoft DevOps.
  • Apply change management processes to handle alterations in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Assist senior project managers in evaluating workflows and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency.

Stakeholder Management

  • Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team, Product Owners, and Solutions Architects to define project scopes and objectives, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are involved and technical feasibility is assessed.
  • Regularly update and present project progress to key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and manage project scope with both clients and internal teams.

Skills and Attributes Required

  • A degree, ideally in computer science, marketing, or business.
  • 12-18 months experience in a Junior Project Manager or Project Admin/Co-Ordinator role
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Curiosity about technology and a willingness to expand knowledge in data software and analytics.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, SCRUM, or similar certifications are a plus.
