About the Role:
We're seeking a talented CAD Designer to produce high-quality working and fabrication drawings for a variety of roofing and cladding systems. While experience in roofing is desirable, our primary focus is on your CAD proficiency and ability to interpret complex design requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create project-specific CAD drawings and fabrication details.
- Review architectural, structural, and steelwork drawings to identify and resolve design queries.
- Attend design meetings (on-site and virtual) and collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers.
- Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, and site teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
- Conduct site surveys and measurements when required.
- Support material scheduling and procurement processes.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a CAD design role (construction or architectural sectors preferred).
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD essential; Revit or similar a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Roofing and cladding experience is a bonus but not essential.
