Electro/Mechanical Fitter

Location: Warrington

£30,000 - £35,000 plus cycle to work scheme, life assurance childcare vouchers, employee assistance program, death in service, pension and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days

Hours of work: 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday with time off in lieu for additional hours worked

We are a tertiary water treatment company specialising in industrial water treatment and have been established for over 15 years.

Due to growth, we are now looking for an Electro/Mechanical Fitter to join our experienced team and help drive the business forwards.

Your responsibilities will be but not limited to:

  • PLC Programming & wiring up panels
  • Installing new equipment, such as motors, pumps, and gearboxes, ensuring they are properly aligned and connected. 
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, inspections, and minor repairs to ensure equipment operates efficiently. 
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical and electrical equipment, using various tools and techniques. 
  • Identifying and resolving issues with equipment, often requiring knowledge of electrical schematics and mechanical principles. 
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and installations. 

Skills and Qualifications

  • MUST hold electrical qualifications
  • Experience and working knowledge of PLC Programming
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Ideally a minimum of 12 months in a similar role
