About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Cabling Engineer to join our growing team in Warrington. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, termination, and testing of Cat6 copper networks across commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities


  • Installation of Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6a structured cabling systems.

  • Termination, testing, and labelling of copper data cabling.

  • Installation of containment systems (trunking, conduit, tray, basket).

  • Patch panel and cabinet installation.

  • Fault-finding and troubleshooting network cabling issues.

  • Working to health & safety standards and ensuring compliance at all times.

  • Liaising with project managers and site supervisors to deliver work to deadlines.


Requirements


  • Proven experience in data cabling installation (Cat6 essential).

  • Strong knowledge of copper cabling standards and testing procedures.

  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings.

  • CSCS/ECS card preferred.

  • IPAF/PASMA certification (advantageous).

  • Full UK driving licence desirable.
