A leading nuclear engineering company is looking for a principal mechanical engineer to join the team on a long term contract basis for some of their most exciting projects in the nuclear space. This role will be perfect for a well experienced and knowledgeable principal mechanical engineer who has vast time spent in the highly regulated fields and sectors associated.

Job Role - Principal Mechanical Engineer
Location - Warrington
Contract Length - 12 Months
Pay Rates - Up To £75 hour Inside IR35

Key Competencies:

Understand concepts and principles, shapes, designs, developments and determines a solution to functional issues
A full knowledge and understanding of all health and safety matters
Work as the subject matters expert and mechanical engineering specialist
Technically manage the scope of engineering to ensure it meets project quality requirements and deadlines
Ensure that procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities
Ensure adequate review, verification and approvals are undertaken on all deliverables
Ensure you are supervising engineers and technical specialists to align with project scope

Essential Qualifications:

Engineering degree in a relevant field with significant demonstratable experience.
Chartership (Desired)
Time spent in managing teams
Experience covering a wide range tasks across a range complexities.
