Tradewind is looking for engaging, warm, and personable people who are able to work in Warrington secondary schools. We work with schools across the borough and have a consistent need for qualified and unqualified teachers to cover lessons on a flexible basis

As a Cover Supervisor/Supply Teacher your responsibilities will include:
- Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
- Sole responsibility for teaching and learning
- Delivering pre-planned lessons
- Using provided resources to encourage learning
- Covering a range of subjects including practical PE lessons or drama lessons or dance lessons
- Managing the behaviour within the classroom or sports hall or drama studio
- Developing independent study skills and peer learning
- Pastoral and learning support
- Managing handover back to the teacher

To join us and be successful in this Cover Supervisor role, you will need to:
- Have a minimum of six week's experience in the last 3 years of working with groups of children or teenagers
- A referee Tradewind can contact to take a detailed reference to account for this experience
- This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
- Provide a full CV with employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Bachelor's degree or similar equivalent qualification
