Reed Talent Solutions, United Utilities’ partnered recruitment agency,are on the search for 16 Call Handlers to support the wider Network Enquiries team at Lingley Mere Business Park.
Due to dry weather across the North-West, we’ve seen an increase in the number of leaks in commercial and domestic properties. We are seeking immediately available candidates to support the North-West community with reporting their leaks. You’ll be providing excellent customer service support to inbound callers, recording the required information via detailed forms, and sharing this information with the appropriate team at United Utilities to arrange attendance at the leak site.
We are looking for candidates who are fully flexible with shift patterns, confident with call handling, and have a strong attention to detail. You must be available to start the role on Monday 16th June 2025.

- Location: Lingley Mere Business Park, Lingley Green Ave, Great Sankey, Lingley WA5 3LP
- Contract: Temporary
- Duration: 2/3 months
- Hourly pay rate: £13.34 per hour (10% shift allowance applied after training)
- Working hours: 8 hour shifts, 37 hours per week across 5 days (Monday to Sunday), shift pattern will be between 7am and 10pm, 2 weekends in every 4 (a Saturday or a Sunday)
- Training: 1 week training - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- Start date: Monday 16th June 2025
- Recruitment process: Telephone interview with Reed Talent Solutions + mandatory pre-employment checks (including but not limited to Eligibility to Work in the UK, criminal record check, 3 years work/personal referencing)
Once this assignment has been completed, there may be an opportunity to move into a different United Utilities team/role.
