- Assist in processing weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity
- Calculate wages, deductions, and statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and pensions
- Respond to payroll-related queries from staff and management
- Assist with year-end processes including P60s and P11Ds
- Support finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
- Previous experience in a payroll or finance administration role
- Good understanding of payroll legislation and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Sage50 Payroll software is advantageous
