Tradewind Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive Church of England Primary School located in the WA5 area of Warrington. This is a full-time role starting in September 2025, continuing for the entire academic year through to July 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to a Year 5 class in line with the national curriculum.

  • Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

  • Effectively support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

  • Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and senior leadership to ensure pupil progress.

  • Uphold the school's Christian values and contribute positively to the school community.

Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - applications from experienced teachers are highly encouraged.

  • Recent Key Stage 2 teaching experience, ideally in Year 5.

  • Demonstrated experience working with disadvantaged pupils and those with SEN.

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate registered with the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind).

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • Commitment to the full academic year and to the ethos of a Church of England school.
