Our client is a specialist subcontractor delivering high-quality faade installation and remediation services across the UK. With a strong reputation in curtain walling, cladding, and glazing systems, they are seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to support their growing commercial team and contribute to a range of high-profile construction projects.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation of cost estimates, tender submissions, and budget forecasts

  • Measure and value work on-site and from drawings

  • Support the commercial lead in procurement, contract administration, and cost reporting

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather and assess pricing information

  • Monitor project progress, variations, and provide input to monthly valuations and final accounts



Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (or working towards)

  • Some industry experience (placement or post-grad) in construction, ideally within glazing and faade systems

  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

  • Confident communicator with good organisational skills

  • Proficient in MS Excel and measurement software (e.g. Bluebeam, CostX, or similar)
