Your new role

Our client is seeking a motivated Project Quantity Surveyor to join their Warrington team. This role offers the chance to take commercial ownership of key project elements while supporting senior colleagues on large-scale projects. You will be responsible for cost management, procurement, subcontract administration, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the commercial management of projects from inception to final account.

Preparing cost plans, forecasts, budgets, and accurate financial reports.

Managing subcontractor procurement and administration.

Supporting the administration of contracts, variations, and claims.

Monitoring costs, risks, and opportunities to ensure strong financial performance.

Working closely with project teams to achieve time, cost, and quality targets.

Developing and maintaining strong client, consultant, and supply chain relationships.

What you will need to succeed:

Proven experience as a Project QS with a main contractor, ideally Tier 1.

Track record of working on projects within education, healthcare, industril, or custodial sectors.

Experience on schemes valued 10m+.

Good working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.

Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent); RICS accreditation (or working towards) desirable.
