Civils Quantity Surveyor - Warrington - Civils High Volume/Low Value - Permanent - From £58,000 salary (Hybrid)
Summary:
My client are seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Warrington, focusing on High Volume and Low Value projects with a strong emphasis on Civil Engineering, including Heritage, Rivers and the Environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects on up to 4 different frameworks.

This role involves overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring delivery within budget and on schedule.

Skills:
1. Create detailed cost plans, conduct feasibility studies to determine affordability, and provide ongoing cost monitoring
2. Strong commercial and financial management skills
3. Experience with contract administration
4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
5. Experience with procurement and subcontractor management
6. Competence in risk management and cost control
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. Guaranteeing payments are received according to the contract terms.
9. Promptly submitting estimates and tendering information to clients.
10. Preparing and negotiating Final Accounts, ensuring all contractual entitlements are addressed.
11. Delivering weekly cost/value information, delivery schedules, and associated Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data.
12. Preparing Monthly Cost/Value Reconciliations and Final Cost/Value Forecasts.

Certifications & Standards:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Familiarity with NEC3/NEC4 contracts is advantageous
