Control Systems Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Control Systems Engineer with a background in industrial automation to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and programming automation solutions using Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation), Siemens, and Mitsubishi control systems.

This role involves the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of control software for a wide range of industrial automation applications. You will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions across both in-house projects and client-facing systems.

Key Responsibilities of the Control Systems Engineer:

Design, develop, and test control software for machines and plant systems using PLCs and HMI interfaces.
Program, configure, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi control systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate systems.
Develop HMI/SCADA configurations tailored to specific project requirements.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including FDS, system architecture, and user manuals.
Participate in system upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure software solutions meet safety, performance, and quality standards.

Requirements of the Control Systems Engineer:

Bachelors degree in software engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
3 years of experience in control systems programming.
Strong programming skills with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens TIA Portal and Mitsubishi iQ Developer / GX Works.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus, etc.).
Experience with HMI/SCADA systems (FactoryTalk, WinCC, etc.).
Understanding of electrical schematics and control panel design is advantageous.
