Amentum are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant on a 6-month contract. The Accounts Assistant will aid the Senior Management Accountant with month end processes, reporting and other ad hoc finance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of accurate month end journals to tight deadlines.
- Reporting on overhead spend, including variance analysis.
- Monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
- Monthly reconciliations of company credit cards
- Management and invoicing of intercompany costs.
- Ad hoc reporting and other tasks as required.
Experience
- Ideally one year in a similar role.
Requirements
- Proficient in excel and use of general ledger systems.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Ability to perform well whilst working alone or in a team.
- Good attention to detail.
You will be eligible for UK security clearance.
