We offer competitive pay of £150 to £220 per day, based on your experience and suitability for the role.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for a new one.
  • Eligible to Work in the UK (ETW).
  • Experience teaching Maths to a high standard, particularly at GCSE level.
  • A firm grasp of the UK national curriculum.

Job Duties:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons that follow the UK national curriculum for various age groups and abilities.
  • Assessing classwork, homework, and tests, and giving constructive feedback to help students improve.
  • Tracking student progress, identifying areas of weakness, and providing extra support when needed.
  • Maintaining a positive and orderly learning environment and promoting good behaviour.
  • Communicating with parents or carers by attending parent-teacher evenings and providing updates on student progress.
  • Attending staff and departmental meetings, taking part in professional development (CPD), and supervising extra-curricular activities or clubs.
  • Following all school policies, including those related to safeguarding and student welfare.
  • Collaborating with other teachers and support staff to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to education.
