About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Warrington. This role is ideal for a dynamic and motivated individual who thrives on inspiring young people to stay active and enjoy sport.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to support extracurricular sports clubs and school teams.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality PE lessons that engage and challenge students

Foster a positive attitude towards physical activity and healthy living

Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

Organise and support school sports fixtures and extracurricular activities

Maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline in line with school policy

Collaborate with department colleagues to share best practices
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Degree in Physical Education or relevant subject

Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting

Strong behaviour management and organisational skills

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
