About the Role
We're seeking a creative and compassionate SEN Arts Teacher to join our nature-based Forest School in Warrington. Starting in September 2025, you'll deliver inspiring arts lessons-integrating visual arts, drama, and expressive activities-tailored to students with a range of SEN needs (e.g., ASD, SEMH, ADHD).
Key Responsibilities
Plan and teach creative arts lessons using indoor and outdoor environments
Adapt learning to support individual needs and EHCP goals
Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, and families
Encourage self-expression, confidence, and emotional well-being through art
Track progress and contribute to reviews and reports
Requirements
QTS or relevant teaching qualification
SEN teaching experience
Strong background in arts (visual, drama, expressive)
Passion for outdoor learning and holistic education
Creative, empathetic, and adaptable approach
Desirable
Forest School or outdoor education experience
Training in trauma-informed or therapeutic practices
