Full Stack Developer

We’re looking for a Full Stack PHP Developer to join a growing tech team in St Helens, Merseyside. You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining internal web applications that support critical business operations. This is a hybrid position, with three days a week on-site.

• Develop and maintain web applications using the LAMP stack

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and deliver technical solutions

• Contribute to full lifecycle software development - from planning to deployment

• Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and documentation

• Provide support and enhancements for existing systems

• Strong experience as a Full Stack PHP Developer

• Proficiency with the LAMP stack: Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and MVC frameworks

• Experience in responsive UI development using JavaScript, HTML, and Bootstrap

• Familiarity with deploying applications to iOS and Android platforms

• Working knowledge of SEO best practices

• Competent in secure coding principles and version control tools

• A team-oriented developer who thrives in collaborative settings

• Comfortable learning from and improving legacy code

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across departments

• Driven, proactive, and focused on delivering high-quality solutions

• Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience

• Hybrid working model: Three days in the office per week
