Specialist Behavioural Teaching Assistant - Warrington

We are seeking a Specialist Behavioural Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team in Warrington. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of pupils who require extra support to reach their full potential.



About the Role

As a Specialist Behavioural Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and pastoral team to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

  • Implement tailored strategies and behaviour plans to promote positive learning and engagement.

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils develop self-regulation, confidence, and resilience.

  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure consistent support.



About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in supporting children with behavioural, social, or emotional needs (experience in SEMH or PRU settings is desirable).

  • Calm, patient, and resilient, with excellent communication and de-escalation skills.

  • Able to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.

  • Passionate about inclusion and committed to helping every child achieve.
