Our client is currently looking to recruit a new Warehouse Operative for their Warrington Showroom. Our client was founded over 40 years ago since then has had incredible growth and today their global presence extends to over 140 countries through more than 400 company owned showrooms, distribution centres and an extensive network of independent distributors and retailers. They are a high regarded and respected supplier that specialise in quality floor coverings, sanitary ware and kitchens selling into the construction and retail markets across Europe and the World since 1973.
- 8.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week
- 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
- Free Parking on site
- £26,984 basic plus overtime available
Responisbilities of our Warehouse Operative:
- Checking in and putting away of consignment goods as they arrive by road trailer.
- Manually picking customer order.
- Moving goods around within the warehouse using pedestrian stackers, Counterbalance and VNA forklift trucks.
- Loading of delivery vehicles with customer orders
- Following all H&S/ company procedures at all times
- Picking orders
- Attending all compulsory training
What we expect from you as our next Warehouse Operative:
- Flexible and keen work ethic with a team environment
- Willingness to learn new skil
- Good level of and numerical literacy
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, “right first time”
- Declared by Occupational Health as Physically “Fit” as some lifting will be involved
- PPT, Counterbalance and VNA licence would be a benefit
