Euro Projects Recruitment is working in partnership with a market leading manufacturer of automated machinery to recruit a Field Service Engineer into their growing team. The business offer excellent facilities and cutting edge technology you will receive product training to work on real high quality machinery.
This Field Service Engineer job will suit:
- Come from a mechanically biased service or maintenance background. Some electrical knowledge would be useful but we dont need a bias within this area.
- Must have a driving licence and passport due to the travel element of the role.
- We are happy to train technically but you will have a good base understanding of mechanical and electrical systems on some form of special purpose or automation machinery.
- Could come from say an automotive, FMCG, Process, Pharma background (or similar).
This Field Service Engineer job will involve:
- Working both in house and on customer sites to support with repairs and testing of machinery.
- Conduct on-site installation, commissioning/Site Acceptance Tests, training, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.
- Advise customers on operation, maintenance, modifications, and upgrades.
- Answer complex technical questions on equipment, and work with customers to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Be able to evaluate and determine solutions working as a team or individually.
