Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

Are you an experienced mechanical professional looking for a rewarding role where you can help shape and grow a division? We are working with a well-established Mechanical and Electrical Contractor based in Warwick, seeking a Mechanical Maintenance & Aftercare Manager to join our team.

About Us
The company delivers multimillion-pound M&E projects across the West Midlands for top-tier main contractors. With a strong reputation they are looking for someone to lead and develop a Small Works and Maintenance division, working alongside our Electrical Small Works Manager.

The Mechanical Maintenance Manager Role

You’ll take the lead on managing mechanical defect repairs post-project completion, maintaining planned maintenance contracts, and identifying new business opportunities to grow the division. The role is a mix of office and site-based work and will see you liaising with clients, supervising engineers, and coordinating with sub-contractors to deliver a high-quality service.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing mechanical defects and planned maintenance contracts

  • Planning resources and creating maintenance schedules

  • Conducting site inspections and ensuring quality compliance

  • Supervising maintenance staff and sub-contractors

  • Preparing costs for remedial works and small projects

  • Building and maintaining client relationships

  • Supporting small mechanical works from costing to completion

 Mechanical Maintenance Manager requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical building services (installation or maintenance)

  • Strong understanding of building services drawings and estimating

  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills

  • Organised, proactive, and confident managing people and projects

  • Qualified in HVAC/Mechanical Engineering (Apprenticeship preferred)

  • Holds relevant trade CSCS card
