- The successful candidate will serve as the Lead Attribute level Owner for the Climate & Air Quality team, focusing on delivering a modern luxury experience based on customer-level requirements.
- Responsibilities include setting targets for vehicle lines, developing test processes for assessment, and collaborating with various engineering teams to enhance the Climate System experience.
- Candidates should possess an engineering degree, prior experience in air quality and thermal comfort systems, and complex automotive project management experience.
- This role requires a strong background in engineering requirements management and offers the opportunity for some travel.
Senior Engineer - Climate & Air Quality - 34/hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire (Hybrid potential) - 10 Months (potential for yearly renewal)
Duties:
This role is as a Lead Attribute level Owner for the Climate & Air Quality team. Working from a customer level requirements and target setting down to sub-system and component to deliver a truly modern luxury experience
Once the targets have been set for each vehicle line and the different use cases considered, work to a test process for assessment and validation that meets with Climate Attribute DV Requirements.
Work as the Climate Attribute Leader for a key vehicle line alongside T&D Engineers, Component and Program LE's plus multiple engineering areas across the business to deliver the ultimate Climate System experience and support issue resolution.
Skills:
- Microsoft Office
- Complex automotive project management experience
- Engineering Requirements management and authoring within an automotive environment
- Engineering degree plus prior experience in air quality and thermal comfort systems for automotive vehicles
- Previous project management experience in a complex or technical automotive engineering field
Additional information:
This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
Hybrid potential and some travel requirements.
