- Oversee all diary management, correspondence, enquiries, and travel arrangements for the Director.
- Act as the first point of contact, managing internal and external communications with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Organise and support meetings and events, including room bookings, agenda preparation, minute-taking, and action tracking.
- Draft high-quality documentation including reports, briefings, and presentations.
- Maintain electronic filing systems, logs, and finance systems with accuracy and efficiency.
- Anticipate needs, forward plan, and resolve issues independently using sound judgement and initiative.
- Provide reliable support to the Executive Support Team during absences.
- Build and sustain effective working relationships across all levels, including Councillors, officers, and external partners.
- NVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent experience.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with diplomacy and tact.
- Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- Confidence in using digital tools and systems at a high level of speed and precision.
