They are now seeking a Workshop Supervisor to play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, leading a skilled team, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
The Role
As Workshop Supervisor, you'll take responsibility for coordinating and supporting a team of workshop engineers while ensuring all repairs and maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You'll be the go-to person for guidance, planning, and quality control, setting the tone for a productive and positive workshop environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and supporting engineers and learners across all workshop levels
- Overseeing the repair and overhaul of electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes
- Allocating workloads, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met
- Leading by example with strong standards in quality, safety, and professionalism
- Providing structured mentoring, training, and on-the-job guidance
- Managing attendance, performance, and team discipline
- Ensuring efficient use of labour and materials to meet production plans
- Maintaining workshop equipment, tools, and facilities
- Upholding strict Health & Safety procedures and encouraging best practices
- Being available for call-out or overtime when required
