Tech Connect Group has been exclusively retained by a market-leading automotive manufacturing organisation to recruit an operationally critical HR Business Partner.  

This role requires an organised and driven individual, able to handle incredibly high volumes of case work, as well as sensitive topics with ease. The successful candidate will have a track record of leading HR teams and dealing with multiple internal stakeholders, ideally within a manufacturing business.  

Whilst the role does offer hybrid working from their Warwick HQ, it also requires nationwide travel, with locations ranging from Blackpool to South London, as needed by the business. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead a team of 4 HR professionals, playing an important role in their professional development.
  • Act as the leading point of contact for department managers across the organisation.  
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity for sensitive topics such as absences, appeals, redundancy and tribunals. 
  • Be responsible for organising and/or attending formal hearings on a monthly basis.  
  • Be a strategic partner for the business, by leading in organisational change, restructures and transformation projects.  

Key Attributes: 

  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent 
  • Experience in leading HR teams 
  • Proven experience in a Senior HR role 
  • Experience managing complex ER cases 
  • In-depth knowledge of Employment law and HR best practice 
  • Knowledge of unionised environments (desirable)  
  • Experience managing high volumes of work with multiple stakeholders
