Our valued client in Warwick is looking to recruit a Stores Person to join them on a permanent basis.
Duties will include:-
- Keeping accurate stock records of parts and materials
- Preparing stock hold forecasting reports
- Monitor stock turonver, identifying excess or obsolete inventory
- Assist in preparing financial reports, monthly and quarterly
- Raise and manage purchase orders on stock forecasts
- Supplier liaison
- Store audits
- Temperature control monitoring
- COSHH regulations compliance
- Shortage reports
- Receiving and despatching goods
- Working with transport provders
- Customs/Import/Export compliance
- Liaising with Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers
Skills and Experience Required:-
- Previous experience in a Stores/Inventory role
- Familiarity with customs documentation and shipping pracitces
- COSHH regulations and Health and Safety standards
- ERP or warehouse management system desirable
- Microsoft excel and other office applications
- FLT preferred
Due to the nature of the business, the successful candidate will be required to obtain a DBS.
