Job Title: System Integration Lead Engineer

Location: Warwickshire

EES Solution is seeking a System Integration Lead Engineer to join the Central Systems Integration team of our client in the automotive sector. This role is crucial in ensuring customer features and functions are successfully delivered and integrated into complex vehicle systems across multiple programmes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing feature integration through all phases, from system definition and network design to testing and delivery, while using Agile methodologies to keep multiple stakeholders aligned and coordinated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration and delivery of customer features and functions into test assets and vehicles.
  • Develop and maintain the Mainline Integration Plan (MIP) using Agile tools (e.g., JIRA), coordinating updates and communicating progress.
  • Identify and resolve cross-functional disconnects and blockers across engineering domains.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of the Integration Report, including bi-weekly updates to leadership.
  • Participate in and lead cross-functional teams to address complex integration challenges (technical and timing).
  • Assist Technical Group Leads in the execution of integrated software and feature delivery.
  • Ensure that systems and features reach maturity and meet programme gateway expectations.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • In-depth understanding of the Systems Design Life Cycle, including: system definition, architecture development, requirements specification, integration, and validation.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex mechatronic systems at vehicle level.
  • Experience using automotive diagnostic and validation tools (e.g., CANalyser, Wireshark, diagnostic platforms).
  • Strong technical project management capabilities and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools and practices, especially JIRA.
  • Previous experience integrating and delivering electrical, electromechanical, or software systems.
  • Experience with engineering delivery frameworks and working in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Experience in Agile project delivery is highly desirable.
