The role
It's strategic, and the growth and success of the business will be what’s at the top of your list.
Working closely with senior management and the warehouse team, you’ll work on process improvements to support continuous customer satisfaction.
You’re a leader, and morale is important to you. Supporting a small team of twelve across two warehouse departments, you’ll motivate and coach employees to get the very best results. Driven by individuals’ development, you’ll recognise any skills gaps.
You will ensure optimal inventory management of the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods. And, with a new barcoding system coming in this year, you will have the chance to support a project the business has been working hard on.
Focused on health and safety and compliance, you will promote the importance to your team through risk management and training.
What you will need to have:
- Experience in warehouse operations and improving warehouse efficiencies.
- Leadership and management skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse management software.
- A strong understanding of H&S regulations, compliance, and risk management.
- A forklift licence.
- Good IT skills - the business operates on MS Office and Navision.
- A meticulous attention to detail.
