Programme Quality Engineer - 35932563 - £33.88/hr (Umbrella Rate)

What You Will Do:

- Ensure the integrity of quality maturation through assessment and validations of Critical to Quality deliverables up to Gateway approval.

- Develop and drive Whole Life Quality Plans to meet key Quality targets and reduce Things Gone Wrong (TGW) on a continuous basis.

- Lead the Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) process, driving problem resolution and reduction of TGW.

- Deliver programme deliverables on time and manage risks and issues through effective planning and recovery strategies.

- Support engineering delivery with Evidence Based Engineering Reviews and Design Review By Failure Mode among other forums, providing quality input and risk assessment.

- Lead lesson learnt events and drive the improvement of both the product and business processes with a strong continuous improvement mindset.

What You Will Bring:

- Demonstrable understanding of programme and project management within delivery frameworks.

- Experience in working with customer and competitor insight data to drive product decisions.

- Proficiency in Failure Mode Avoidance methodology within systems engineering at various levels.

- Knowledge of Quality Management and Operating Systems such as APQP, ISO9001 & IATF 16949 (preferred).

- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.
