Senior Product Design Engineer (Automotive interior cabin components)Certain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised automotive client in Gaydon (Warwickshire) for a Senior Product Design Engineer for in-vehicle Cabin components. We’re seeking Design Engineers with full product development lifecycle experience and knowledge in modern digital CAD/CAE tools.In this role you’ll manage the component delivery plan to quality, cost and time and you will lead on the technical content and integrity of specific components and systems across specific programmes.  What we’re looking for:
  • Previous experience of managing resolution of business, technical and process issues
  • Understanding and experience in new product development life cycle
  • Experience of problem-solving tools and techniques
  • Understanding of Digital, CAD, CAE, etc tools to develop component system geometry
  • Skilled in key software applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Previous experience within engineering discipline
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding or working knowledge of the Agile Process
