We are seeking a dedicated and skilled educator to join a thriving Secondary School in Warwick from January, working full-time on a long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students, build their confidence and promote a love of mathematical thinking.

As a Maths Teacher here, you will play a vital role in helping students develop essential skills including logical reasoning, problem-solving, critical thinking and numerical fluency. Your enthusiasm and clarity will help students unlock their potential and achieve positive outcomes in exams and beyond.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
  • Delivering high-quality, engaging Maths lessons that stretch and support students of all abilities
  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where all students feel confident to participate and succeed
  • Using effective assessment to track progress, identify gaps and adapt teaching to maximise learning
  • Contributing to curriculum planning, enrichment activities and continuous improvement within the department
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for every student
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills following the school’s behaviour policy

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2025 document)
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at KS3/KS4 level (KS5 is advantageous)

Vetting Checks:

  • Right to Work in the UK (No Limitations)
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (Child/Child & Adult Workforce)
  • Reference checks covering the last 2 years of employment or education
