KCR Solutions is proud to partner with a leading international organisation in the search for a talented Financial Controller to join their team in Washington. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and internationally recognised business. Your duties will include the following:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts
  • Monthly financials and produce reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Generate financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the annual external audit process

Budgeting & Cost Management

  • Develop and review annual budgets; support managers in budget planning
  • Oversee product costing across UK and European subsidiaries
  • Monitor and manage systems used to determine unit product costs
  • Conduct regular product margin and sales analysis
  • Analyse costs for new products and investigate cost-related issues

Intercompany & Business Support

  • Ensure appropriate intercompany pricing across entities
  • Provide financial analysis for new and existing business ventures
  • Supply financial data to Head Office for reporting, tax, insurance, and banking purposes

Accounting Operations

  • Review cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable activity
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries
  • Reconcile accounts to the general ledger

Candidate Profile

We’re seeking a qualified Accountant, though candidates who are QBE or part-qualified will also be considered. You’ll bring several years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment, and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Strong Excel skills are essential.
