Are you a commercially driven Business Development Manager with a strong network in the Social Housing space?

Our client is seeking a talented and strategic Business Development professional to spearhead company growth in the North East - a key region where they aim to strengthen their presence and challenge established players. This is a high-impact, field-based role with huge potential to shape and deliver their regional business development strategy.

Our client is one of the UK's leading property services contractors, operating across sectors including Social Housing, Education, Defence, Retail, Commercial, Healthcare, and Hotel & Leisure. With a national footprint and a turnover approaching £600m, they're on an ambitious growth journey - targeting £1bn in revenue over the next five years through both organic growth and acquisition.

The Business Development Role

As our North East Business Development Manager, you'll play a critical role in:

  • Leading the development of new business opportunities across the region, with a strong focus on social housing

  • Identifying, targeting, and winning new contracts within local authorities, housing associations, and other public/private sector clients

  • Building strategic partnerships and networks to expand company visibility and influence

  • Working closely with operations and pre-construction teams to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships

  • Tracking competitor activity and market trends to keep us one step ahead
