Van Drivers Required – Immediate Start (Washington, NE38)
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking van drivers to join our delivery team based in Washington (NE38). This is a full-time, ongoing position delivering flat-pack furniture in and around the Sunderland area.
Role Details:
This is a physically demanding but rewarding role, working as part of a two-person team to ensure furniture is safely delivered to customers’ homes. You will be responsible for assisting with loading and unloading items, handling products with care, and maintaining a professional attitude throughout the day.
Start times are 6:00am each morning, with shifts typically lasting between 8 to 10 hours depending on the route. Each route consists of up to 15 deliveries per day.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out multi-drop deliveries of flat-pack furniture to residential addresses across Sunderland and surrounding areas.

Work closely with a partner driver or porter to ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently and safely.

Handle goods carefully to avoid damage and ensure customer satisfaction.

Complete all required delivery paperwork and reporting accurately.

Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle at all times.

Follow all road safety and health and safety regulations.
Requirements:

Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Punctual, reliable, and professional in appearance and attitude.

Previous experience in multi-drop or furniture delivery is desirable but not essential.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, starting at 6:00am until route completion (approximately 8–10 hours per day).
