Electrical Maintenance Engineer Newcastle/Sunderland 6 months Fixed Term Contract

Invictus are recruiting for an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to complete PPM and reactive maintenance on a large static site, in Washington, between Newcastle and Sunderland. The client is looking for IMMEDIATE engineers as this position is a contract vacancy lasting a minimum of 6 months before review.

You will be expected to have good all round knowledge of other FM disciplines and worked on other FM/Building Services roles.

The client in question is a leading body within the facilities maintenance industry and the site being a large research and manufacturing facility that supports aviation, aero space and the ministry of defence. You will be an integral member of the team in maintaining the buildings facilities and day to day running.

Job Role:

The position is a Monday to Friday 8-5 role and it will be paying up to £26 per hour.

You must be able to pass SC security clearance due to the nature of the site.

Duties:

Ensure the PPM's and reactive maintenance is completed

Work on the electrical systems, lighting, emergency lighting, display lighting, sockets, switchboards, fuses, distribution, basic BMS and controls

Ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained

Assisting with general upkeep and fabric maintenance

This is a temporary position on a leading contract where you will be joining as an integral member of the team in order to ensure the smooth running of a large critical site.

Skills Required:

The successful candidateMUSThave:

Electrically trained with at least 3 years experience in commercial building maintenance and services.

Musthave 17thor 18thedition

Musthave Level 3 Electrical installation

Mustbe well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client facing role
