KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this growing manufacturing company to recruit a qualified Accountant to be their Finance Manager. Your duties will be as follows:

  • Managing the preparation and reporting of the financial results for the UK entities to ensure profits and other targets are achieved or exceeded
  • Ensuring the production of timely and accurate financial and management accounts
  • Managing and assisting with day-to-day finance department activities
  • Responsible for budgeting and forecasting
  • Communicating on business performance and implementing remedial actions if needed
  • Continuous improvement of financial controls and systems, with supporting documentation
  • Timely delivery submissions with supporting documentation
  • Management, development and appraisal of finance team members
  • Managing payroll submissions and reporting
  • Supporting and reviewing shared service team performance
  • Becoming a SAP super user who can train and support other users
  • Maintaining contact with external bodies such as auditors and government agencies

A qualified Accountant, you will be an integral part of the senior management team and be keen to drive the business forward with financial objectives and profitability. You will enjoy looking for ways to continually improve financial controls. Strong IT skills are essential and ideally you will have worked in a manufacturing environment.
